The youth of St. Mary and St. Moses Coptic Orthodox church of the Buffalo area are a very large part of the church. Truly, the youth in every church are important.

At St. Mary and St. Moses, the youth have a day of recration and spiritual meeting every second Saturday of each month starting in the year 2008. There will be a liturgy prayed entirely in English, a social hour for eating lunch, a Bible study, a fun activity outside of church, and discussion time with Abouna.

With God's blessings and Grace and the perseverence and dedication of the youth of our church, this youth meeting will be a permanent day every month for all the Coptic Orthodox youth of Buffalo (and eventually all of the surrounding regions) to meet with each other and discuss how to live a Christian Orthodox life in a generally permissive and straying society and culture.
